A Great Family Fun Day Out! Situated on the Hampshire and Sussex border, Hollycombe is far more than just a working steam museum, it's a place where the past comes to life. From the atmosphere of our traditional fairground, to riding on our steam railways, or wandering through the woodland gardens, there's something for all ages. Hollycombe is open on Sundays & Bank Holidays from Easter until mid-October and during the week on selected days as shown (selected/timed attractions operate on weekday openings). Open 11.00am - 5.00pm with Train rides from noon and Fairground rides operating from 12.30pm. Please see our calendar below, normal running days are green, with special event and daily opening days coloured differently.

Advanced booking is not essential, but can save you time on the day of your visit. Simply select your required day from the calendar to book your tickets. Once you have purchased your tickets, on your first visit, we will present you with your annual tickets, which can be used any number of times throughout the season for a calendar year from the date of issue(T&Cs apply).

Today's the day that Teddy Bears are encouraged to come along to Hollycombe and join in the fun! Bring along your teddies and maybe a picnic too, and enjoy it in the peaceful woodland gardens before the afternoon fun starts. There will be the popular Teddy Bear Trail for the children to follow (with a small prize for returned entries), watch out for the Giant Teddy during the afternoon having fun in the steam fair and on the trains. There''s also magic shows and fun with children's entertainer 'Nick Clark' during the afternoon and a free bouncy castle for the children, and games. Come and meet Victoria the traction engine star of Victoria's Torton Tales story books. The Yvonne Arnauld Youth Theatre group will also putting on two outdoor performances (weather permitting) of the musical adaption of 'The Railway Children' during the course of the afternoon in the Woodland Gardens (see website for more details) There's going to be lots to see and do and to join in with!
